People vs the Pros Championship Sweepstakes

1. Eligibility
Participation in the People vs. the Pros (the “Event”) Sweepstakes is
open to legal residents of the fifty United States/D.C. and Canada, 18 years of
age or older, who are Amateur golfers and who have acquired an official golf handicap
(endorsed by the U.S.G.A. or the R.C.G.A.) prior to September 30, 2009. Current
Professional golfers (or those that have ever been a professional golfer), employees
of Innovative Media Solutions, Winnercomm, Pinehurst Resort, other Event Sponsors,
and member companies, advertising agencies involved with this Event, their respective
affiliates, subsidiaries, direct sub-contractors, and printers, and
members of the immediate families of each of such employees and/or those living
in the same household, are not eligible to participate and win. For purposes of
these rules, “immediate family” is defined as parents, spouses, siblings
and children, regardless of whether they reside in the same household. Void Where
Prohibited.
2. Description of Sweepstakes
The Sweepstakes will be conducted from 12:01 am (PT) May 15, 2009 until 12 midnight
September 23, 2009, (PT) to award a total of 2 (Two) Finalist Spots in the Event,
which is fully described at www.pvpgolf.com

Two Finalists, one each from the 18-49 and 50 and over Divisions of the Event will
be selected in a random drawing on or about October 1, 2009. Finalists will win
a golf package worth $3,995.00 which includes: a slot in the 2009 People vs. the
Pros tournament, five nights of lodging at historic Pinehurst Resort, four rounds
of golf, breakfast and dinner each night, four cocktail parties, ground transportation
from the hotel to the golf courses, etc. Package does not include airfare, ground
transportation from airport to the Pinehurst Resort, or lunches. See Official Rules

Odds of being selected a Finalist depend on the number of eligible entries received
in each Division. Winner must pay for their own air travel.
3. How to Enter
Visit www.pvpgolf.com (or other designated
web sites) and purchase and complete an online entry form by following the onscreen
instructions. Limit one entry per person. Persons who enter more than once may be
disqualified in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. No purchase is necessary. For
those that do not want to use the online method to enter, they may choose to mail
in an Official entry form to enter the sweepstakes, found at
www.pvpgolf.com and then mailed to: Innovative Media Solutions, 1601 N.
Sepulveda Blvd, Manhattan Beach, Ca. 90266. All mail-in entries must be postmarked
by September 23, 2009 and received by midnight, September 30th, 2009.
Note: If you have already qualified for the Finals through another means do not
enter this Sweepstakes. You can only qualify once as a Finalist.
4. Winner Selection
One (1) Finalists in each Division will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted
by People vs the Pros, on or about October 1, 2009 from among all eligible entries
received. Odds of being selected a Finalist depend on the number of eligible entries
received in each Division from all paid and mail-in entries, Finalists will be notified
by phone/mail at the contact information provided on the Sweepstakes registration
form.
5. General Rules
As a condition of entry, participants acknowledge that they have read these official
Rules and the Official Rules of the Event and agree to be bound. They further agree
to accept as final and binding the decision of the People v The Pros Tournament
Director and any judges appointed in connection with the Event, regarding all aspects
of the Event and the interpretation of USGA and RCGA rules and handicaps system.
Finalist spots are not transferable. All Finalists will be required to complete
an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability/Publicity Release within 5 days of first attempted
notification. In addition, Finalists must show written proof of their official handicap
and agree to be bound by the decisions of the Tournament Director without any protest.
Those selected as Finalists who cannot be contacted or who fail to return the completed
and executed Affidavit and Release in a timely manner, will be disqualified and
an alternate Finalist may be selected. Except where prohibited by law, all issues
and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability
of these Official Rules, the Official Rules of the Event or the rights and obligations
of entrants and the Sponsor in connection with the Event, shall be governed by,
and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of California, without giving
effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Canadians selected as Finalists
in this sweepstakes will be required to answer a mathematical skill testing question
as a condition of being verified as a Finalist. Any litigation within the Province
of Quebec respecting the conduct and awarding of a prize may be submitted to the
Regie de Alcools des Courses et des Jeuz. Those selected to participate in The Finals
must be prepared to play on dates specified by Sponsor.
Sponsor is not responsible for lost or late entries or for electronic transmission
errors resulting in an omission, interruption, deletion, or delay of their transmission.
Sponsor is also not responsible for technical, telephonic or computer, hardware
or software malfunctions of any kind. By participating in the Event, entrants agree
to release, and hold harmless the Sponsor from and against any injuries, losses,
damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising
from their participation in the Event or their or acceptance, use, or misuse of
any prize that they may be awarded. Finalists grant permission for the Sponsor and
its agencies to use their names, voices and/or likenesses for advertising or publicity
purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Sponsor further
reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the sweepstakes’
entry process or provides false or misleading golf handicap information.
6. Finalists
Finalists are subject to the Handicap Policy set forth in rule 8 of the Official
Rules for the Event.
For the names of Finalists selected in this Sweepstakes send a self addressed stamped
envelope to Sweepstakes Finalists, Innovative Media Solutions, 1601 N. Sepulveda
